What is Be Well in Paradise?
- Be Well in Paradise was launched by Peggy Sealfon two years ago. It is a hub for health and wellness with collaboration and coordination of different venues in the area she lives, Southwest Florida or what they call Paradise Coast.

What is Paradise Coast Wellness Experience?

How do your mind and thoughts affect your well-being?
- Mind has a powerful connection with our body. We can even heal ourselves with our mind. What we think we become. Our thoughts and dreams are manifested in our actions and state of being.
Experience helping and working with a person who almost lost in touch of his/her system?
- A businessman whose business is on the verge of falling. He was panicking and experiencing insomnia thinking about losing his business, his wife, and his lifestyle. He was starting to get obese which could have lead to stroke or heart attack.
In what ways did you help your client?
Helped to stay present in the moment. Gave him technique called Yoga Nidra- it is a yoga sleep for 20 minutes that is equivalent to 3 to 4 hours deep restorative sleep. Made him recordings and he would listen to them every single night and that will help him to sleep. He would wake up the next morning feeling better to function well enough addressing his daily activities. He was able to save his business and started to expand and he's doing very well.
What is Yoga Nidra?
- It is an ancient Yoga Practice. A state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by a guided meditation. It is a state of orchestrated approach to taking you into deep levels of relaxation.
How do you relax, refresh, and re-energized yourself during the downtime?
- Listen to your body and know when to take a break.

What happens to our body when we don't rest or take a break?
- We get stress and it weakens our immune system
- It undermines our ability to think clearly and remember things
How do you deal with your own personal challenges and struggles in life?
- Don't allow your mind to control everything and not letting your emotions to take over. Take a pause and see how you react on things and see the reality as it is and not be so much guided with preconditioning reactions that are accumulated throughout your experiences in life. Always be present in the moment.
What is the first step into wellness especially for busy entrepreneurs?
- There are a lot of ways. These are called processes or practice interrupters that will interrupt your pattern. It takes 21 to 90 days to create new patterns. My book called Escape from Anxiety has over 100 strategies that can interrupt those patterns. One simplest way but actually not found in the book is to do a 10 count breathing exercise. This exercise will allow you to change your focus, interrupt the feeling and the whole sensory reactions that you're having at the moment.

It has bite sized strategies that people can use and there's over 100 of them in the book that can supercharged your life. The second part of the book helps you develop your own kind of strategic protocol that is sustainable and works for you because we're all a little different in terms of what we respond to.
